I am the second owner of this 1997 Saturn SL2 with 5-speed manual transmission. I have owned it since 1999. This Saturn runs well, has 134,000 miles on it and gets good gas mileage. About 6 months ago, a tire came off of another vehicle on the highway and struck the rear passenger's side, causing some minor body damage. You can see it in two of the pictures. Otherwise, it's clean and in good condition.
It's never had a problem passing SMOG checks. It had it's bi-annual check last year when it got its annual registration done. The registration is current and the title is clean. If you would like to have the car, I'll take it down and get the pre-sell SMOG check done so you'll have a a super current SMOG certificate.
I've enjoyed this car for the past 10 years and hope someone else can get some enjoyment out of it, too.
